For some this will be a very disappointing message. We will no longer be shipping live bee packages. Our last shipment of live bees were sprayed with bug poison. This occurred while in the care and possession of UPS. We had the returned packages examined by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. The results were the bees had been sprayed with a bug poison. They had been sprayed with such intensity that the cardboard boxes that protected them were discolored by the spray in solid blotches. This made it appear as though someone had deliberately held the spraying devise up to the box and sprayed a long and deliberate steady flow of poison onto the bees. This occurred while the bees were in the standard wire mesh and plywood boxes and in a cardboard box with wire mesh on the air openings. They were totally defenseless and deliberately killed.  If some one knows a good attorney that would help us out with this it may help all who depend on the shipping industry for their live bee packages,
