overwinter well and build brood fast in the spring.
These Carniolans are excellent comb builders. Ideally suited
for our area. This apiary is in the Tule fog area, so
I can attest to the damp winters there. Our other breeder
is further North and the Apiary is up near the foothills of
the Sierra's There expertise is in the New World Carniolans
and a different Italian Hybrid. They have the nicest black
queens that you have ever seen. These are the Susan Colby
New World Carniolans not to be confused with the Old World
Carniolans. The ones we had last year were the fastest brood
builders I have ever seen. I had customers pulling honey off
first year colonies. Myself included. For the first time we
have a Buckfast Queen breeder. So we will have Buckfast
packages and queens. Russian Packages and queens Old World Carniolans and New World Carniolans queens and packages.
Minnesota Italian hybrid and The Minnesota hybrid Texas
Italian strain. And as always we will carry the tradition
