Details 

Mite Away II is a formic acid treatment for the control of varroa and tracheal mites. It should be used as part of an integrated pest control management program. One single application pad can be used to treat 6 - 20 frames of brood. To apply you must place the pad on top of two spacing sticks which go on top of the brood frames. Mite Away II should be used when the daytime tempertures are in the range of 50 - 70 degrees. You leave the pad on for 21 days. This works, we use it here at the apiary. It is the only chemical we use for mite protection.

Sticky Board is designed to fit on the bottom board and to slide into the front of hive. Sticky board will hold Varroa mites fast so that you can count them to monitor your hive infestation. Must be used with screens to keep bees from sticking to them. Starting from: $ 0.90

Sucrocide
Sucrocide

Details 

This product is made to treat your bees against Varroa Mite. It is made from Sucrose Octanoate Esters. You apply this chemical by spraying the complete frame of bees with the solution. In order for it to be effective against the Varroa Mite it must come in contact with them. You pull the affected frame from the hive and spray both sides of the frames with solution, wetting down the bees. You continue until all frames with affected bees have been sprayed. This needs to be done 3 times at 7-10 day intervals. A back pack sprayer or hand held sprayer can be used. There are some precautionary statements for humans and animals. This application process makes the bees very mad and resentful you will be able to notice by the number of stings you recieve
